For by grace are ye saved
through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast
(Ephesians 2:8-9).
Throughout the epistles, there isn’t much
teaching by the Apostles on the subject of faith. The Apostles never told us to
have faith because they knew we were born with it. Someone might say, “Well,
Jesus asked His disciples, on several occasions,
to
have faith.” Understand that the disciples weren’t born again at that time;
they lived under the Old Testament. Besides, salvation, which comes by grace
through faith hadn’t
been consummated at the time Jesus taught the
disciples to have faith. However, in Christ, faith has been imparted to our
spirits.
In
2 Peter 1:1, the Apostle Peter wrote, “Simon Peter, a servant and an
apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us
through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ.” Notice
those to whom Apostle Peter was writing: “…them that have obtained like
precious faith….” That’s talking about every believer in Christ. We’ve
obtained like precious faith with the apostles; we’ve received it. We didn’t
have to manufacture or create it; it came to us in the Word, the Gospel of
Jesus Christ.
The Apostle Paul spelt
out this same truth in his epistle to the Body of
Christ in Romans 12:3. It reads, “For I say, through the grace given unto
me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he
ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man
the measure
of faith.” This
Scripture addresses all the saints in the Body of Christ; we that are born
again! We were given the same measure of faith through the Gospel.
Now,
the Lord Jesus made a profound statement with respect to what you can
accomplish with that measure of faith. He said, “…verily I say unto you,
If
ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say
unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and
nothing shall be impossible
unto you” (Matthew
17:20). This is so inspiring; it means you can live a life of infinite
possibilities, create your triumphant and victorious life, dominate, and rule
your world through faith—the least amount of faith that you possess. This is
awesome! Yet everyone has the responsibility to strengthen and multiply his
faith.

சீஷர்களிடத்தில் பல தடவைகள் விசுவாசமாயிருங்கள்” என்று கூறியுள்ளாரே என்பர். அந்த
நேரத்திலே அவருடைய சீஷர்கள் மறுபடியும் பிறந்தவர்களாக இருக்கவில்லை என்பதைப் புரிந்துகொள்ளுங்கள். அவர்கள் பழைய ஏற்பாட்டின்
பிரமாணத்திற்கு அமையவே வாழ்ந்தார்கள். இரட்சிப்போ, அதற்கு அப்பால், கிருபையினாலும் விசுவாசத்தினாலும்
வருகின்றது. அதனால்தான் இயேசு தமது சீஷர்களைப் பார்த்து விசுவாசமாயிருங்கள் என்று
கூறி அதை நிறைவேற்ற செய்தார். எவ்வாறாயினும், கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் விசுவாசமானது
உங்கள் ஆவிக்குள் இப்போது ஊற்றப்பட்டுள்ளது.
2பேதுரு 1:1ல் அப்போஸ்தலனாகிய பேதுரு எழுதுகிறதாவது, நம்முடைய தேவனும்
இரட்சகருமாயிருக்கிற இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவினுடைய நீதியால் எங்களைப்போல அருமையான
விசுவாசத்தைப் பெற்றவர்களுக்கு, இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் ஊழியக்காரனும் அப்போஸ்தலனுமாகிய சீமோன்
பேதுரு எழுதுகிறதாவது:” கவனியுங்கள் அப்போஸ்தலனாகிய பேதுருவே இதை எழுதுகின்றார். “...அருமையான விசுவாசத்தைப்
பெற்றவர்களுக்கு...” இது கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் சகல விசுவாசிகளையும் குறித்து பேசுகின்றது. நாம்
அப்போஸ்தலருடன் கூடவே விசுவாசத்தைப் பெற்றுக்கொண்டுள்ளோம். அதை சுதந்தரித்துள்ளோம். அதை நாம் உருவாக்கவோ வடிவமைக்கவோ
வேண்டியதில்லை. அது கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவின் சுவிசேஷமான வசனத்திற்கூடாகவே வருகின்றது.
அப்போஸ்தலனாகிய பவுல் கிறிஸ்துவின் சாPரத்திற்கு நிருபங்ளை எழுதும்போது இந்த சத்தியங்களையே
கூறுகின்றார். ரோமர் 12:3 ல் நாம் வாசிக்கிறோம். “அல்லாமலும், எனக்கு அருளப்பட்ட
கிருபையினாலே நான் சொல்லுகிறதாவது; உங்களில் எவனானாலும் தன்னைக்குறித்து எண்ணவேண்டியதற்கு
மிஞ்சி எண்ணாமல், அவனவனுக்குத் தேவன் பகிர்ந்த
விசுவாச அளவின்படியே, தெளிந்த எண்ணமுள்ளவனாய் எண்ணவேண்டும்.” வசனம் கூறுகின்றபடி, கிறிஸ்துவின்சாPரமாயிருக்கின்ற சகல பரிசுத்தவான்களுடனும் நாமும் மறுபடி பிறந்தவர்களாக
இருக்கின்றோம்! சுவிசேஷத்திற்கூடாக நாமும் அதேயளவு விசுவாசத்தைப் பெற்றுள்ளோம்.
இப்போது, கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு, விசுவாசத்தின் அளவைக் குறித்த ஒரு முக்கிய கூற்றினை
கூறுகின்றார். அதனை நீங்களும் நிறைவேற்றலாம். ‘மெய்யாகவே மெய்யாகவே நான்
உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகின்றேன். கடுகு விதையளவு விசுவாசம் உங்களுக்கு இருந்தால்
நீங்கள் இந்த மலையைப் பார்த்து,
இவ்விடம் விட்டு
அப்புறம்போ என்று சொல்ல அது அப்புறம் போம்; உங்களால் கூடாத காரியம் ஒன்றுமிராது என்று, மெய்யாகவே உங்களுக்குச்
சொல்லுகிறேன்’ (மத்தேயு 17:20). இது ஆச்சரியமானது. உயிர்ப்பூட்டுகின்றது.
அதாவது நீங்கள் முடிவற்ற வாய்ப்புக்களைக் கொண்ட வாழ்க்கையை வாழமுடியும்.
வெற்றியுள்ளதும்
ஜெயமுள்ளதுமான உங்களுடைய வாழ்வை உருவாக்குங்கள். உங்கள் உலகத்தை
விசுவாசத்தினால் ஆளுகை செய்யுங்கள். கடுகளவு விசுவாசம் உங்களுக்கு இருந்தாலும்
நீங்கள் ஜெயிப்பீர்கள். இது வியப்புக்குரியது!
அவரது விசுவாசத்தினால் பெலனடைவதும் விருத்தியடைவதும் அனைவருக்குமான கடமையாகும்.
